Frequently Asked Questions

Can anyone get IV hydration?

Yes, anyone can benefit from IV hydration. Our process ensures everyone fills out our medical form to be reviewed by our staff before treatment begins. From time to time we have to turn people away because the medical history is not suited for our IV Therapies. The minimum age is 16, but anyone under 18 will need parental consent.

What if I'm expecting or nursing?

When you are breastfeeding, we can give you certain IV Therapies to help you recover, increase your energy, and strengthen your immune system. If you are currently pregnant, we cannot provide you treatment.

Is it painful?

Where the IV is inserted, there usually is a small pinch. In that case, please let our staff know whether you'd like a topical anesthetic to numb the area if needles aren't your thing.

Is the treatment safe and legal, and who administers it?

An experienced registered nurse with extensive training will start IVs and give shots. Our medical director, a doctor, is the person we report to directly.

How frequently can I have an intramuscular shot or IV hydration?

Elective IV Therapy should be done no more than once a week. The vitamins will remain in your system for at least 2-3 weeks.

Depending on the formula, most IM Shots are available 2-3 times a week. However, it can last up to two weeks.

Do I need to undergo tests before receiving an IV?

No tests are needed beforehand, but you must fill out our medical form in advance of your visit for the medical team to evaluate and authorize.

How are vitamin injections different from taking an oral supplement?

Many people have difficulty absorbing nutrients from supplements or food because of intestinal inflammation, poor gut health, or digestive illnesses such as IBS, Crohn's disease, or Celiac disease. Injecting nutrients intravenously or intramuscularly avoids this problem by delivering nutrients directly to the cells, feeding your body instantaneously for immediate use, and providing your body with what it requires.

What is the time frame of an IV hydration cocktail?

Our hydration therapy last between 30 and 60 minutes after you are a customer.

What is an IM injection and how long does it take to administer the injection?

Injections are delivered intramuscularly (IM), which means the vitamins are injected into the muscle with a tiny needle. These are frequently administered in the upper arm or upper gluteal muscle (upper hip region). Our IM vitamin shots normally take a few seconds to give once you have been established as a client.

Is it possible for me to receive both an IV and an IM injection?

Yes, and this is an excellent recommendation. Boosters are an excellent way to supplement your IV Therapy by adding medication or minerals to any drip that does not already include them.
